This is how the technology works:
The process begins with the gasification of hydrocarbon-based raw materials, such as methane, preferably from biogas, under controlled conditions. The synthesis gas produced then undergoes a carefully controlled catalytic conversion, where it is split into two pure components:
• Pure hydrogen (H₂): A driving force in fuel cells, internal combustion engines and industrial energy systems.
• Valuable solid carbon: The material can be formed into advanced carbon nanoproducts (CCM), such as carbon nanotubes (CNT), graphene and Carbon Black – all with unique properties that revolutionize applications in electronics, battery technology, building materials and much more.
This process, developed using low-temperature gasification technology, enables precise control over product properties and ensures that each input is used to its fullest potential.
Waste to syngas: Our LTC technology converts residues and waste into clean syngas in a fully closed, emission-free process.
Production of hydrogen and carbon nanotubes: With CCVD, the syngas is converted into fossil-free hydrogen, oxygen, and high-quality carbon nanotubes and graphene.
